Wasn't there a cartoon cross over between these two? I seem to recall something from waaayyyy back... Speedy came in and the coyote chased him... maybe it was a dream.
Who's faster? Let's see, BOTH are indeed faster than the speed of light (can't be seen whilst running). But overall speed? Road Runner has more endurance... and he can get through a pile of birdseed faster than Speedy can mow down his cheese.
So, Road Runner's faster but Speedy has healthier digestion habits.
Starting to run on now eh? Sorry.

ok...the Road Runner vs. Speedy Gonzales....
they made a cartoon episode that was totally dedicated to the race between the 2 while the whole time Willey Coyote and Sylvester the Cat tried to catch them. throughout the cartoon each one was in the first place sport for a time...while in the end niether were caught and they both tied...so they are both extremely fast yet neither has the edge...

They both have the same speed, but the Road Runner takes bigger steps so I would say the Road Ronner, Even though Speedy has excellent skills of beating the cops to the Border.

Speedy Gonzalez because he's smaller and harder to catch and could run around the Roadrunner's legs and make him fall. XD

roadrunner wiley e coyotte could not catch him. he was just too fast. he is faster than speedy.
