Yes, especially at a place that serves food. Health regulations usually prohibit employees from wearing open toe shoes, so I think its especially bad at a restaurant interview.

It's gonna depend on your outfit but I would say go with the closed toed flats. Closed toed shoes look more professional and can help to make a better impression. Especially if it's at a higher end restaurant. Good luck with your interview!!!

In general don't wear open toed shoes to an interview. The exception of course would be if you are interviewing for a pole dancing position.

Closed toed shoes work better. It adds a more professional look. Open toed seems to suggest laid back and relaxed. Always remember that any job, even when interviewing at McDonald's you should always look professional. Nice slack and shirt or skirt/shirt or business suit. No flashy colors. Good Luck!!

between those two I would choose the closed toed flats. Open toed shoes are a no-no if you want to look professional and make a good impression.

i would go with the closed toe flats. open toe shoes are very inappropriate for a job interview; it's like you're wearing sandals.
