I agree that you probably have SpyWare.

You should have an anti-spyware solution on your computer. I recommend that you go to http://www.download.com and get AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search & Destory. Install, run, update and scan your computer with both programs.

I believe you must have administrator rights to add/remove programs with windows 2000.

If the dialog box is displayed but greyed, then you do not have administrator rights.

Have u tried rebooting and then trying it, sometimes the system freezes for no reason and needs rebooting.

try robooting it...then try it again...it does that sometimes....or if u r at work maybe ur security setting wont let u do that ...idk
