Absolutely nothing!
I have studied literature and I didn't find any relation between the two. I hate politics and truly believes that it is unhealthy for society whereas literature is related to society and is a mirror of society.

Politics and literature have more incompatibilities than the compatibilities. Politics is the art of acquiring power to rule whereas the literature is the art of composing poetry, fiction and drama. Politics can make the literature as its handmaid but literature cannot do so. A politician with good literary skill can mesmerise the people with his/her flowery speech. A true lover of literature would never aspire for political power because he/she thinks the art of politics is the last resort of a scoundrel.
