If the smell is stronger at the back then it is the catalytic converter. You can try getting some stuff to pour in the gas tank to make it smell sweeter. If it is from the front then yes, you do have something leaking and dripping onto a hot exhaust - check all fluids. You want to stop the drip before you start seeing flames (then it is a bit too late).

The egg smell comes from the exhaust equipment. As for the rubber smell, it feels like you're smelling the recent brakes being damaged in. this gained't very last, possibly 100 miles or so... good success...

Also the belt may be slipping on power stering pump and fluid is getting over heated

i would say its ur catalytic converter,one way to tell is to take a dollar bill,place it at the end of the tail pipe,normal conditions the bill will constantly blow away from pipie,if its sucking the bill in and out,ur converter is probally clog,really this works,hope this can help u determine the problem
