I loathe Green Day because the are just soo anti-American. I know they have a right to express their opinions but so do I and that's what I say. Some of their music is very well performed and written but I just can't accept them.

I really love classic rock. That has a wide range of bands you could stick in there.
I mostly loathe all the new bands except for a few exceptions.

I love classic rock and rock from the 80's but the two bands that absolutely drive me up a wall are AC/DC & KISS. I was just never able to "get into" their music. It all sounds the same to me.

I say Creed. Their generic guitar riffs and wussy guy singing about his 'tough times' or whatever caused the downfall of alternative-type music as we know it. Brought about the popularity of Nickleback, Lincken Park(I spelled it different so I'd be cool), and all those other current crappy bands.
I do like Incubus, fall-out boy, but not much else right now. I wish the mid-90's music scene would come back, but I guess I'll just have to live in the past.

I totally agree with you. They are completely ANTI-AMERICAN. There is no talent at all in their music. I do loathe them.I am a classic music junkie too, my fav. bands are the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, The Who, and The Doors. The End is on my Media Player now.

I totally , to use your word, loathe ACDC, its not good music and you cant even understand the lyrics with all that horrible screaming he does when my classic rock station plays them I change the station right away, I don't know how anyone could put them in the classic rock category anyway. they deserve a category all to themselves and that would be crap! The best band of all time is the great Led Zeppelin!

I don't love Green Day either (though I still think "Dookie" is a pretty damn good album), but I don't think it's fair to say they're "anti-American" just because they choose to criticize our government and, more specifically, the current administration. In fact, one might say that there's nothing MORE American than criticizing the government. (Cuz we got freedom of speech, get it?)
Now to answer your question, I loathe Nickelback to the point of wanting to violently wretch whenever I unintentionally hear one of their songs. (And believe me, it is unintentional.)
Creed is a close second but, thank merciful God, they broke up.
It appears you may have decent taste in music, chief. I'd now humbly suggest easing up on the right-wing rheotoric.

Ummm...being against certain things isn't anti-American, and if anything, protesting is the epitome of American. There is a lot of ****** up things about our country, and it's roots lie way deeper than either political party's policies, and individual politicians mean nothing anymore.
To answer your question though I absolutely loathe Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Linkin Park, and Good Charlotte.

U2 and coldplay. and i disagree with the green day stuff. i like green day, and they're not anti-american, they're just against the idea of american patriotism that america is the greatest country in the world, and the fact that americans are represented by these people.

I'm with you on Green Day for the same reasons. Also Incubus, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, AFI, Good Charlotte, NFG, Sum41, My Chemical Romance... eh the list goes on and on, i think you get the idea.
