He is going to get hurt. She's lying. The idea of being separated is being separate. Tell him to snap out of it or he's in for some serious hurt. Tell him, to tell her, to give it time; when she's resolved the situation to give him a call. Old flames are easily relit and trust me you don't want to have to be the one to pull him out of the funk he'll be in. Unless he wants a no strings attached relationship in that case let him be. And IF he refuses to listen let him be. Some people only learn thru their mistakes.

I think someone needs to tell him that "still living with their spouse" does not mean separated. It means married and living together.
Tell him that a couple is legally separated only if the couple has successfully petitioned a court to recognize their separation; simply living apart does not constitute separation for these purposes. So he's sniffing around a married woman- not good.

well the meaning of being seperated is to have space between them.Do you really think they are seperated if they are living in the same house .Come on get serious. She should just back off till he moves out .weather they are in different rooms or whatever it is disrespectfull for all of those involved

you should tell him to go about really discreetly cause her husband may not know that they are separated, since they still live together. and your friend might be in a world of hurt if the husband says it ain't over until its over.
