I'm trying to get pregnant and i went to see the doctor and they also told me to see a C.N.M. after i get pregnant. Do you guy's know what is this type of nurse? or are they good?

Certified Nurse Midwife--just a midwife who practices under a physician and handles all your prenatal care as long as there are no complications and delivers you in a hospital or some deliver in birthing centers.

They are Certified Nurse Midwives. They specialize in caring for pregnant women. And delivering babies. Although they are good. I would use a good OB doctor, especially if this is your first child.

Certified Nurse Midwife. They are usually better then the doctor at answering questions and have a better bedside manner. If your doctor told you to see one then he or she should have one practicing out of his or her office.

Certified Nurse Midwife...i had one with both of my kids...they go along the lines of no medicine but if you want it they will give it....they were really good with my pregnancies..very helpful when it came to delivering...mine were very calm and that helped me to be calm as well...they helped with focusing and concentration...i would recommend one!!! best of luck to you..
