No, unfortunately it does not. The only way we can "travel" to a favourite place is by watching television or playing a C.D. or video. Another way is to look at old photographs, and use the most powerful computer in the world, YOU! Your brain is the best way to travel, although not in the physical world.
But think for a moment, if this kind of travel was possible, why not make your favourite resort come to you!
If not already, study quantum mechanics. This is a great subject, and can answer many questions such as yours.
In the mean time, you will have to do the same as me, take time out to travel, or enjoy your favourite resort on T.V.
