You need to broaden this question a little. First off, who is calling you a skank and why. Sometimes it is as simple as jealousy. Sometimes it may a reflection of your actions. Now, this does not mean that you are. Maybe your actions were misinterpreted. Maybe that person is a skank herself and just likes to be mean. How do you normally dress? Have you ever gone out with someone who was already dating someone else? Lot of things could be a factor for this name calling. The only advice I can give you is that if you can't bend down to touch your toes without your butt hanging out then your skirt is too short. Also, try to start your day out by thinking about what is appropriate that your Mom would like but also that you like. Find that happy medium and you will be appropriate and still sexy. Some cleavage and some leg is great - as any man will say-- but there is such a thing as going to far. Any self respecting woman will not be dressing like a street hooker. So do the once over in the mirror before walking out the door in the morning.
Keep a good attitude and don't let this person bother you.
Do what is best for you. Dressing too sexy will get you unwanted attention.

I have always thought that sexy was a very different vibe from skanky. If youre being called skanky, you need to rethink your style. Some things are sexy, some things are slutty. Its usually not too hard to tell the difference.
I am a big fan of the fact that if a woman is sexy and has a nice body (& one does not make the other) she can be appealing with liitle effort. If you have huge boobs, then you dont really need to wear low cut shirts, thats skanky. Sometimes a girl with little boobs will look better in the same shirt just because it doesnt look trashy. There is definately a line, find it.
The porn star look does not belong certain places & in those places you may be called names.
I just want all women to realize you can be sexy without showing your clevage & without skin tight jeans. Sometimes the sexiest thing is understatement, but then again I am in my 20's so I go for a mature sexual look, not a sluttly one.
Sometimes it wil be as easy as changing your top. Take a real good look in the mirror and you will see what other people can percieve as overt sluttiness.
But my perception is that you might actually enjoy dressing the way you do and the attention it gets you.
Maybe as you get older you will see, that a respectable & subtle sexy goes waaaaaaay farther than a sl*t appeal. No offense meant at all.

Well, there is a difference between sexy and over the top looking like an easy lay. That would be why.
On the other hand- If you are a beautiful girl (which I'm positive you are) you have that alone to get guys attention.. but dressing sexy on top of it creates an even BIGGER threat to all the other average ladies out there.
Men will think you are easy and stupid becaues you are pretty and sexy.. it just happens. You just have to set them straight by showing you are not like that. Some will still say you are because they got burned and are petty assholes ;)
The girls will say it out of PURE JEALOUSY. IGNORE GIRLS.

I have the same problem. they're just jealous! I know I'm looking fly when I catch those looks on man faces like Wow, whoa and other, and I'm more certain that I hit the spot when I catch girls commentating me in a bad manner. Believe me girl, I've never got a compliment from a strange woman, only from my relatives (sisters, mom etc), and fake friends whose shoelaces are peaking from my butt , how deep they got inside it. You know, kiss @sses...
So, when men wanna strip you, and girls wanna kill you, but secretly LIVING for a day when they will look like you (no one said that day would come), You are 100% certain that you're looking sexy. Am I wright, or am I wright?

If you have that whole "I'm sexier than you are" vibe, people (women especially) aren't impressed. Keep in mind, too, that sexy and skanky are two totally different things.

dressing sexy and dressing skanky is two VERY DIFFERNT things. i think you should be able to dress sexy but just not for EVERYONE!! flaunt your body ot your one and only. llet it be a mysery. dont show it off for every sick perve who want sto go home and beat off to the thought of you.

Sexy is different from slutty. It not only depends on your clothing, but it depends on how you present yourself overall. Are you a big flirt? Do you throw yourself at guys?
