Not all married people cheat. The ones that do would rather take the easy coward way out rather than work on their marriage issues.

I dont think anyone really knows why and I think you know this. You hurt and we hope that if we keep asking this question that someday someone will answer it. Trully, the ones who cheat may not even know the real reason they cheat. here is what I believe though: That some people cheat for love and some people cheat for lust. If this is your husband you are referring to, he may have cheated because temptation got the best of him. Not because she was prettier, or sexier. apparantly he loves you because he married you. How many men will marry a woman if they are not worthy enough to take in front of mom and their BOYS. you are more than just eye candy to him. yea...it hurts like hell, and no, dont make excuses for him, and im not trying to by saying no one really knows why people get married and cheat. Im married. and we are no different from those who are not. We made a promise to be faithful, yea but all in all, we are still human and get tempted. Im sorry you had to go through this and it sounds stupid but everything does happen for a reason. Maybe this HAD to happen so that he could appreciate you. You never know. But keep your head up and dont give up on your husband. he's made his mistake and hopefully he has learned from it. Ive been cheated on before, not by my husband but by someone who very well could have been and all you can think is WHY. What was it about her that you had to cheat on me? baby girl, I know.

When I got married I never thought I would cheat. Then after 6 years the wife decided that sex was only an every other month item. I was fine for several years with lots of self gratification inbetween then a lady offered up some nookie and I took advantage of it. When I married my wife it was forever and I was happy. Then when the wife decided to stop what she had been doing it was not fair of her to do that.

There are a number of reasons a person cheats. The individual could be a low life s-o-b that doesn't care about anything but themself. Then you there could be something drastically wrong with the marriage and one of the partners saught out comfort from someone else. Maybe they can't help themselves -- never did like when that kind of thought came out -- dont' believe it. Any way you try to consider the reason why, it isn't right in my book.

A team of scientists recently found that romantic love involves chemical changes in the brain that last 12 to 18 months. After that, you and your partner are on your own. Relationships require maintenance. A lot of people don't want to, or are simply not interested in, putting in the effort, so they move on to new purely physical interests.

Because they're insecure with their own feelings and scared little cowards........it happens, sadly; however, if this happened to you, you will have to pick up and move on. If he cheated, then he didn't truly care for you okay? You deserve to be loved.
