I am wondering how I go about looking for scholarships for him. I am hoping that he will get a basketball one but that is a mother's wishful thinking. Can anyone help me?

My son asked me to start looking for scholarships for him because he knows that we can't afford to send him on our own.

Contact his coach and school advisor.

You can contact colleges directly about how to obtain sports schalarships.

There are many resources. The school counselor, the athletic director, coach. You can look on-line for scholarship info. The local Jr. college. These are your best sources. Also many libraries have that info and the librarian and staff will help you find where to look.

If you go to church- find out if they offer any scholorships. Also, go and talk to his guidence counceler, they chould have endless info on that. I think they have books in the library on this too.
