I start a new job today, and for it I bought new heels. I was wondering if anyone knew of any way to make them more comfortable so that I'm not miserable.

Also, I have another pair of peep hole shoes that I bought a few days ago. Since they are all on sale, I couldn't find my size and got them half a size larger, but now my feet slip out of them when I walk. Any ideas on how to fix that?

You can buy insoles for pumps and also you can get heel and toe guards that would go around the back of the heels and at the front of your toes. This would make the shoes fit a bit more snug. You can find these at shoe stores and sometimes at places like Walmart in the shoe section. As for breaking them in take another pair of shoes to work with you. Change them in the afternoon so your feet won't become so tired. It takes a while to break in shoes.

Massage the heel of the shoe and any other part that feels snug. This will make it softer. For the one that is larger put in what is called a cookie in the shoe business. You can also us moleskin or a Band-Aid if you cannot find a shoe cookie.

to get the shoes comfortable:

stuff crumpled paper in them over night and keep the shoes where they can get some air. in a few days (4-6) they'll be good.

can't think of ways to fix the "big"shoe problem.
