The pie safe I am looking for is very old, probably early 1900 to mid 1900. It has 2 doors at the top, I think, one has a flour sifter in it and on the door is a grocery list with indicators to point to items needed and I believe there was a flour bin. The working space is porcelin enamel with a roll top cover and has separate workspace that slides out from under the main one. There are drawers underneath for things such as utensils your flour cloth, etc It is made of wood and this one was white. As I remember it was on short legs but about 8 ft. tall total.
I believe it was made and used where everything you would need while you were making pie crust, bread dough, and such was all there in one place. This item was in Orange Texas in a very simple home. The lady did all of her own cooking, canning, baking
etc. from scratch.

BUT, what you are describing is a Hoosier Cabinet, not a pie safe.

Good luck. The chances of your finding the exact item you describe are infinitesimal. It's hard enough to find ANY original pie safe. Try barn sales, or just drive around and ask people to search their barns. They might not know they have a treasure. These things are VERY valuable, you know.

My friend has one that he inherited from his grandmother. Not sure if it's exactly like the one you described but he may be willing to sell it.
