I do a series of sit-ups every day that i am on my period. I dont get as bloated and i tone my abs as well as get rid of bad cramps.

Get yourself an over the counter water pill. Start taking it about 3 days before you are going to start. Along with assisting in removing the bloat it should relieve the pressure of cramps.

Drink lots of water! Don't eat any salty snacks, or drink sodas. Stick to healthy veggies and lean meats and you'll be fine :)

exercising, yoga works great. and eating sensibly. if it's really bad, take a midol or similar medicine. they have things in them for the water weight gain.
