What's the worst finance rate that anyone should get. Even if they have poor credit?

What are you financing? How poor is your credit score? If you are financing 100% of the value of a house with a 580 credit score you will be between 9-11% if there are no recent bankruptcies.

Some states have laws which limit the finance rate a corporation in that state can charge. In Massachusetts it's 18%. But other states, like Delaware don't. That's why so many credit card companies are incorporated in Delaware.

This depends on what you are financing. Card cards can be up to 30%. If even approved, a car or house can be in the teens.
