I discovered this game online and it seems really fun, I just haven't figured out the strategy, how to play, etc. Help!

Also, it is also a regular board game? ex, can I get a Reversi set at the store, or is it just an internet game?

No it isn't a on line game it is actually a board game. you can play it on msn and there is a yahoo widget of it. but basically you click a square to take all the peaces between the one you put down and any line or diagonal to your pieces. It's very good. get the corners they are key to the game. it also has other names i think Othello is one!

Reversi/Othello is kind of a strange game in that what you're trying to do for the early/middle of the game is to _not_ have a lot of pieces. If your opponent has a lot of pieces relative to you, then they will have less moves than you (since each move has to flip one of your pieces). When you can control what moves your opponent has, you can force them to give you a corner. Once you have a corner, you can grab and maintain a lot of pieces for the end of the game.
