Firstly, I must apologise, I appear to be wearing the same hat. Sigh, I feel very embarassed. You look so much better in it than me...
Ok, favourite film, its really difficult to pick just the one aint it?! Erm, probably Alien, brings back fond memories of staying up really late when I was little. My gran was babysitting me n my ickle sister, we all jumped when the alien burst out of John Hurts chest! Oooh, and my mam looks a bit like the Weaver too so, yeah, Alien, caus it makes me think of three of the most precious women in my life.
Who would of thought a sci-fi horror would make me go all misty eyed? Not me!

Nosfertu. I just love this film - it may be over 80 years old but it still is fantastic. The vampire is by far and away the best ever, the actor does not move like a human - very disturbing. Aside from being silent this film does not show its age and is equally as good as anything in the cinema these days.
My second favourite is Labyrinth (Bowie in a codpiece I doubt anyone, straight or gay, could resist! lol) because of the beautiful songs and wonderful creatures.

I'm going too annoy you and name a few...
American beauty... can watch it more than once and pick up on new ideas each time
Amelie... feel good frenchy!
Zulu... gotta love a classic
North by North-West... good Hitchcock that isn't "psycho" or the "birds"
Goodbye Lennin... Just love the whole scene where the Lennin statue comes over the mothers head but gotta admit apart from that i don't really like it so it shouldn't be here!
Kill Bill... thought with the last bunch I would need a new Hollywood movie that I liked!

Flash Gordon. I went to see it at the cinema when I was 8, and it got me hooked on Sci-fi. I just love the script! Gordons alive!!! (and Brian Blessed was perfect in that role!) Dale Arden with "Flash Flash I love you but we only have 14 hours to save the earth!" Classic! And the Music! Queen! It's Fab!!

Gone With the Wind -- I love the book and I love the movie. Why? Scarlett O'Hara - and amazing, complex, strong character! If you have only seen the movie and not read the book you only get a glimpse of her.

Lilo and Stitch. Makes me laugh and cry every time I watch it. I love how strong, smart, and strange little Lilo and her older sister are. I love Stitch--so mean and so cute! And as someone who lost a parent as a child (my father, when I was seven), I totally relate to how Lilo, who lost both parents, acted and felt.
