Karl Rove has already told some conservative insiders that there WILL be a October Surprise in order to influence the upcoming election. (see link below). Gary Hart (former Senator) believes that one possibility is an attack on Iran's nuclear program, and possibly a broader attack aimed at regime change.
I think that it will be something that hits home much harder....like actually showing Osama's dead corpse on national TV. (although maybe they'll save that for 2008).
What do YOU think the Republican October surprise will be?
Will you be influenced by it -- or have you pretty much already made up your mind, irregardless of an October Surprise by EITHER party?

No, an October Surprise will not influence my vote. Even if Bush and Dean were to throw a nonpartisan birthday party for me when I turn 49, it would not change my vote. I am tired of the Republicans. I am tired of the endless diatribe of being "tough on ___" (you can fill in the blank). Mostly the GOP administration has been tough on me; I resent that. All politics are local, and the politics of the pay-check are as close to home as it gets. The GOP can stuff their ideals when they are hurting so many people.

of course not FROM the Republicans, it exchange into not FROM the Democrats the two. The term "October ask your self" is being thrown around by utilising Conservatives to attempt to place blame on Dems as a exchange of dealing with that their leaders have actually no morals or ethics and haven't any administration over their own contributors.

So what are they going to do when the FBI comes after them for withholding material information on foley for over a year? Do you think some dems are going to get busted?
