I see the repubs are have there blinders on and are dening the validity of this poll. Even though today Iraq is disbursing some of the police (about 500) we trained because they were helping death squads. Yes its really turning out well there for us, but I'm sure the repubs here will have an excuse for this also.

Legally speaking we are there at the invitation of the Iraqi government, which may or may not pay attention to polls. Ultimately, the people in Iraq do have the power to tell us to leave, since they can throw out the current Iraqi government if they feel strongly enough about the issue. Same in this country. If a strong majority feels that we should leave, we will eventually elect a government that is committed to leaving.
If this is the case, maybe we already have established a democracy in Iraq, and we should declare victory and leave.
On the other hand, we should be concerned about whether Iraq is going to turn into another Iran, or whether Iraq is going to split into three fractious countries. Both of these outcomes are entirely possible. Since we caused the situation, we have some responsibility to try to prevent those outcomes from happening. The real issue is whether our presence is more likely to lead to Iraq becoming a peaceful, stable country, or is more likely to lead to Iraq becoming a violent, intolerant country. I think that is a difficult question regardless of whether you were in favor or the war initially or not. And that should be the deciding factor, rather than the most recent polls in Iraq.

Framing the question with "ANY cost" ensures the respond. at the instant the not common area seems to have been achieved. Kurdistan is at peace and prospering. different areas are additionally doing nicely. We hear approximately Iraq basically whilst there is violence and we don't hear lots at the instant, so it rather is a controversy of a quite short era and the activity would be achieved. Leaving earlier it rather is potential each and everything could have been for naught and no united states of america would desire to ever have confidence us back.

President Bush is a monkey. I can't wait until January 2009, when there is going to be a new president at the Oval Office. Hopefully a democrat. There was also a report that said that since our Iraq invasion that terrorism is more spread out in other nations and that there are more terrorists. I also heard that there might be a possibility that his brother , Jeb Bush might consider running for presidency int he future. I would leave the country.

When Saddam brought his totalitarian dictatorship to Iraq all it took was locking the doors on the Iraqi Parliament and killing 15 people.
Why can't we do the same. Call a general assembly kill a few of the decenters and Volla democracy.
Then we can settle down to the real task. Harvesting Natural Resources.

The Iraqi people want us there. They are grateful for our rescue of them from their dictator.
You can make a poll say anything you want depending on how you word the questions and in what order they are asked. I used to do surveys. I know.
For example, was the question, "Would you like to see the US stay indefinitely, or leave immediately?" See, you can get any answer you want if you just know how to play the game.
Talk to a solider who has been over there. They'll tell you the truth.
