Yes, if by natural you mean vaginal - if you choose an epidural as a pain management option your blood pressure actually drops. (it also makes the birth a nicer experience in my view. good luck.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

It mainly depends on what your blood pressure is when you go into labor!! If it's high and may be dangerous for you or the baby, your doctor will perform a c-section, but if you're fine and everything's normal, your doctor will more than likely let you have the baby as long as there are no complications or risks!! Good Luck

I had high blood pressure with my first and third child. They were both induced, but I had them both vaginally not by c-section. The best thing that you can do is talk to your doc and if he or she is saying c-section find out why. If this is the reason they give you, find a different doc. If you need a c-section during the delivery, that is one thing, but I think that planning to give you one is a little premature. Best of luck and congrats.

It depends on how high it is and whether you have any other worrying signs, like protein in your urine or excessive swelling/fluid retention.
Your doctors should be monitoring that very carefully, and will be best placed to tell you whether it's safe or not.
Often an epidural is a good way to help lower blood pressure and allow you to deliver your baby, but it may not be suitable in your case.
Go by what the doctors tell you, and GOOD LUCK!!

Yes it is possible.

If your blood pressure gets too high (dangerously so) then you may end up with an emergency caesarean, but if that doesn't happen and it just remains 'high', you would probably be able to have a normal delivery.

They may recommend that you have an epidural during labour as this lowers blood pressure.

Good luck!

First of all, natural child birth means a vaginal birth with no drugs. So the proper term would be vaginal child birth. From what I remember, one in four births are done by C section.

Ask your doctor.

you're able to do it. I even have had 4 and no epidurals. My first became into virtually 10 lbs. (fortuitously I had no thought earlier she became into born that she became into going to be so great.) Have a plan. teach your self. do not enable the nurses take over and enable you realize what place you will desire to be in. For me, the main comfortable place for hard paintings and transport became into semi-reclining...not on my back. And if the stirrups are uncomfortable, do not use them! Lamaze worked for me nonetheless I by no potential used any of the respiratory varieties different than the "in in the process the nostril, out in the process the mouth." I used a focal ingredient and continually remembered that each and every contraction might quickly be over and that i'd desire to journey it out. tell your self and you will shrink the terror of the unknown. you will sense arranged. I pretty propose a hard paintings doula in case you will discover one on your section. and don't anticipate your first hard paintings would be long and not common. Mine have been each and every of an identical...12 hours from the 1st twinge of hard paintings until eventually beginning. The contractions geared up in length and intensity and that i became into waiting to regulate.

I think that you need to chat with your midwife, If your blood pressure is still high at the onset of labour then you may still be able to have a vaginal delivery but with the aid of drugs to stabilize your blood pressure.

Your midwife is the best person to advise you.

good luck

i had extremely high blood pressure, pre eclampsia etc, i was started off a month early and was made to have an epidural as it is supposed to bring down your blood pressure, but other than being hooked up to machines, drip etc it was a natural birth
