I dont think its your problem... she is the one who is going to be paying for it in the long run... you could always tell her mom.. let her get mad at you for doing it but she might thank you for it later!

That's VERY sad. Not just that she's pregnant but that she (1) still lives with mom (2) doesn't trust mom enough to tell her and (3) seems like she doesnt care.
If she is under 18, I'd seriously think about letting her mother know. You could leave an anonymous note for her parents if you don't want them to know who told. This is such a serious matter.

Thats a tough one. Either your friend is very young or just plain stupid,. Maybe you should tell her that. Apparently she is on a major pity pot. Do not baby her she needs to grow up and remember there is another life to think about right now not just hers. You sound like a true friend if she does not want to help her self you need to walk away no matter how much that hurts if you stick around to watch her abuse herself it will only destroy you also. Good luck I hope she takes the right steps for the sake of her child. God Bless You!

You should tell her mom...if she is drinking while she is pregnant she should not be a mother to begin with that is just saying that she could care less for the baby....she needs to have help with all of this and NEEDS TO STOP DRINKING... if she does not want the child then she needs to really consider her options....such as adoption.....she needs to go to the doctor and make sure the doctor scares the hell out of her with what could happen to the child if sh continues to drink....

you should tell her to quit drinking and take her pregnancy a little bit more seriously. Tell her she better tell her mom, but whatever you do don't do that for her. You will destroy your friendship with her. Right now she has confided in you and you need to keep this secret, but talk to her nicely on how she should not be drinking... she will understand where you are coming from.

Well i thiknk that you should take care of your friend and make sure that she does not drink. I think that the best thing to do is to talk to your friend and let her know that she has to take care of herself. Because if you tell her mom you can lose her as a friend but i think that you should really talk to her as soon as possible.

Talk your friend into telling her parents. Tell her that you will be with her for support if she needs you. If she is still in school you can go and tell her school counselor. They can help too, But she has to stop drinking or she will harm the baby.

I think that you should tell her mother, and show her the error of her ways, perhaps do some internet research on fetal alcohol syndrome and show her any horrific pictures you find.
She needs to be brought back to reality and she needs to start behaving like she is pregnant, it sounds to me like she is in denial.

I would tell her mom! If she continues drinking her baby could end up with fetal alcohol syndrome - which is VERY serious!

Physically take the booze out of your friend's hand and dump it out. Ask her if she wants to make her baby sick, and take her someplace where there is no drinking.
