How do you answer a question on Yahoo answers?

This question is quite robustly answered by Yahoo! in the Help section of this website (see [1]). To summarise, they state that you should:
* Click the Ask button.
* Type in your question.
* Add any details that will help.
* Select a category.
* Say if you want to be alerted to answers by email.
* Preview it
* Submit it.

i had the same question.... so i went to my local library and I checked out the dummy book for asking a question on yahoo answers...
it can be found near all the dummy books for, cooking, computers, fixing a car, etc....
it was a life savor.....

go to Q&A on your yahoo index bring up the Q&A screen and follow the instructions
