i work as a lift engineer(elevators) and i am inquiring if there is any vaconcies in the halifax area.

Hey Bud you'll just have to hop on the plane and check out Halifax.Why wouldn't your place of work find out for you especially if you wanted to transfer.Usually they send you and set you up with the type of job you hold in Scotland.Ask your boss about a transfer and they'll find all that out for you.Put your thinking cap on.Good luck,and have a safe trip.

your best bet is to try jobbank,gc,ca
and cek the jobs there for vacancies this is the government job site you can chek the links like charityvilliage.com also
