i once read in a news pper that a mermaid/man was found in bay of bengal-dead.the news paper was very old so i couldnt read the whole thing.

so
which part of them is human?if the upper part then how do they breathe?

dont try to tel me that they are just legend cause every legend starts from reality.

answer all the questions please!

yes i know its true.
it was a 1980's news paper thats why u werent able to read the whole thing.

yes it is quite stupid that the film makers made a mischief,turning the merpeople upside down.
i saw the picture on the news paper.the merman had legs and gills,ie he had a fish head and a human leg.

I believe that what you read was an article that was written a long time ago. According to fact, if you believe in merpeople, their upper half is real. They breathe like a fish does, by swallowing water and retrieving the oxygen from that water.

Sorry to say this, but such a find should be questioned. Historically, sailors have reported to see 'merpeople' while sailing the seas. However, in the greatest likelihood these merpeople were simply Sea Cows or manatees. Being out to sea will make you wish to see something pleasant...

They aren't real. Just as the Greek gods are myths [never real]. Human beings are great story tellers and as a story is told, the tellers embellish it, till you can't tell fact from fiction. Mermaids are all fiction.
