Does anyone work in sales/collections or any industry that has a daily quota or monthy? If so does your company have pep talks all day long to keep the motivation high... do they drive you crazy.. the yelling and hoopla when someone makes a sale etc.... all the pressure of the job and all the fake motivational stull sometimes just drives me crazy.....or maybe its just the fact that I have been doing this for 15 years.

yeah, its pretty crappy having people always striving and pushing and trying to motivate you in different ways. If they realized that all their efforst just drove people crazy, and that there are actually better ways to motivate than yelling and getting excited over stupid things, I bet they'd see their sales go up. Happy employees sell better, and all the hoopla (good word) often doesn't help to motivate employees like managers think it does.

After 15 years I would be stir crazy. I tend to get the itch and do something radical after 4/5 years.
