Well I'm about to paint our bedroom in a blue color called Gulf Breeze. It'll match the curtains. I'm painting the base boards an antique white to go with it so I'll let you know how it turns out. You know a couple of stores have these little paint samples that you can buy now. You could always buy some of them and see which you like better on your walls.

Dark Hunter Green is a good color that makes the room look rich, yet masculine.
Mocha or light coffee color is also a nice tone.
I have painted with both of these colors and they are the two colors I did not get tired of living with, unlike some other colors I had.

White and light colors make the room look biger!!
Black and darker colors make the room look smaller! That has to do with perspective!
I like light colors, if this is your bedroom! go with a wall color that matches with most of the things in your room. May I suggest you go to your paint seciton in your local store and get the paint color strips, that way you can see the color, and take the strip home to match it so you can imagin what it would look like in your room!

how about a nice sand color with a medium brown? you can accent it with green or orange

I assume you are a male, go with anything in the chocolate or coffee palette, and accent with creams or whites.

they say yellow makes you happy but I dont believe it.
Any shade of red is anger including pink
blue is soothing
