I recently read a book by Mitch Albom in which he says: "Every life has a one true-love snapshot", and it got me thinking.
I do believe it is true, my snapshot is the moment when my now husband was driving us back from the movies (while we skipped a class in College) and we both started singing the song on the radio...something clicked just then and I knew I was in the face of true love.
If you do believe it is true, what is your snapshot?

The book by the way is called "The five people you meet in heaven" and it is excellent...

Yes I believe it is true. I have read the book and strongly agree. My "snapshot" happened when I went on my first date with my girlfriend. I always knew we would click but we spent the entire day together laughing and doing things throughout the city...but it was when we were in the CN Tower looking out the windows and I glimpsed over at her, that was when I knew that this was going to be something special, and it is.

I believe this is true as well. I also believe there is a snapshot moment when a love falls OUT of love with you as well.

Polichinela, please permit me to answer this wonderful question of yours.

The other day I was driving my mom's car, with my wife, in which I decided to open the radio. I went station by station until I found something that we could sing to each other and for some reason right out of the blue the same song that was used for our wedding day was the same song that I heard in every assembly in my high school since 1977.

That song is almost 30 years old and believe me when I tell you that I did feel well in singing it to my wife in Spanish (although the orginal version I do know by heart).

thank you very much for reading this message.

I have read the book and it is a great book. When I first read your question I thought no...not really but then I started really thinking about it. Every time I think about when I first knew my husband was the one I think about when we first met at church and I turned my head and caught his eye from across the room. It is like that was it for me. I knew then. So yes, I do agree with your statement.

one true snapshot...that just gives people a reason not to look for anything else after they get that one true love snapshot..

Believe what you want to believe. If a child dies soon after childbirth, does that child have a true love expeience? It is unlikely.

The idea you suggest is a nice thought but it isn't very realistic.
