We all know that there are alot of people who talk bad of others; but, isn't there a certain joy when you pay someone a compliment unexpectedly and you see their face LIGHT-UP?

Definitely. The way I see it is that there one never knows when someone may be close to the edge and that one compliment makes them want to keep living. So, I try to say nice things to people as much as possible, just i case I encounter that person who is having a really bad day.

Neat topic, your right, it's easier to talk bad about someone then to say, hey, I love your hair or nice shoes. I try to make one compliment a day, no matter my mood. Hopefully it brightened someone's day up enough to pass on a complement of their own. More people should try to find the good in people instead of looking for the bad to make themselves feel better.

Don't say something unless you really mean it. I would hate to receive fake compliments. Now, if you really mean what you say -- go for it. There are such little joys in life. It is great to hear there are some givers out there instead of takers; even if the giving is simple as saying something kind.

I see your point and you are right. Sometimes even the rudest person is thrown off guard when you say something nice about them to their face. They get this Surprised look on their face. I have a vendor that comes in where I work that never has anything nice to say about anybody or anything. I paid her a compliment one day and it totally left her speechless. It was actually very funny.

I love to see peoples faces light up. I have never had difficulty in paying anyone a compliment.

Most definitely! I give random compliments all the time. It makes the positive energy flow more! I love getting them, why should I not give them!?! Great question, by the way!

Its not difficult at all...only if your being sincere and not being fake or trying to be funny. especially if they're looking crazy that day. But its nothing wrong with making someone feel good about themselves..

If you are fond of the person, it shouldn't be hard at all. Sometimes there are people that you just don't like, no matter how hard you try...then that might be a bit more difficult.

Isn't hard at all....I actually go out of my way to pay a compliment...especially when I know thier having a tough day....
