Massages!!! Those work great to relax a pregnant woman. She needs to be relaxed to get a good nights rest. Massage her feet, back, and shoulders.
The long body pillow is good. I did not use one when I was pregnant I just stuck a regular pillow between my knees when sleeping on my side. (works just as good I guess)

If she can't, she can't.... I'm 5 months now and I just cannot get a good nights sleep. I'm tossing and turning a lot and having to get up a lot to pee. Sometimes it makes me want to just stay up and watch tv. If your worried that she is not sleeping enough at night, tell her it would make you feel better if she at least took a nap during the day. Make sure she has enough pillows including one for inbetween her legs. Also, I'm having to run the a/c like crazy because I feel really hot, so ask her if that might help. At any rate, if she's not exhausted enough to try other things, then you might not get anywhere with her. It's nice that you are concerned tho. :)

Lots of pillows to help bridge the abdomen. It is very uncomfortable at this stage and unfortunately is not going to get any better until after the baby comes. Sleeping on her side with pillows to bridge her abdomen and one between her knees will help some. Hope that works. Congrats to you both.

body pillows are my favorite thing in the world. I am 23 weeks pregnant and could not live without them. I have one on both sides of me. Love them. My hubby said my pillows get more action then he does. He also thinks he is funny.

check out babycenter.com They will give you a lot of tips about anything you can think of, and also shows you videos on what to expect and stuff.

kudos on being an excellent hubby, and dad

Have her sleep on her side which ever one is more comfortable. Put a pillow between her legs and rub her back till she doses off, that always helps me. Im working on number 4 as we speak
congrats and good luck

You`re sweet for even asking this. Tell her to sleep on her side with a pillow between her knees. It will help the pressure on her spine. Be patient it`s going to be worth it.

You probably can't. The further along she get the worse it gets, unfortunately. Between the added weight, having to go to the bathroom every hour and so on and so on. You can try extra pillows for support of the belly & back if needed. They also make full body pillows for that.

Good luck.

She can take Unisom, but it must NOT be the extra strength one. It has to be the one that looks like a small, oval blue pill. It's actually the same ingredient doctors recommend for morning sickness, and it poses no thread to the fetus. I took it throughout my twins' pregnancy.

Lots of pillows!!! And it may help if you sleep somewhere other than beside her (if she doesn't mind).

Sounds like she's lucky to have such a caring husband. Good job!
