the main issue is being abuse as a kid or being abuser. that is not a reason to email pagers or kill.

You are an exception. When people use child abuse as an excuse to commit a crime, they are copping out.
Child abuse is a phenomenon that affects people in different ways. Some children may develop a sense of guilt and feel that they have done something bad, but it is Society that is to blame for that guilt.
If a child knows that he or was not to blame, they most likely be driven away from any wrong doing as an adult, now drawn into it.
It really is a complex area, but all factors should be considered when attempting to find reasons.
You are absolutely right when you say it is not excuse for wrongdoing as and adult.
What you said about not needing to screw your life even more, shows an over average Intelligence.
You will do very well with your life.

I don't think that just because someone was abused that they will be an offender. I think it's a total piece of crap.
