that's tough... atoka, oklahoma. are you near oklahoma city? that's the only city i know of. if you are, check for a job there.

you can ask friends and family in the area and see if there's a job opening somewhere. networking is pretty good because you get first crack at applying for the jobs not posted on monster.com or hotjobs. some other people hear said check the paper-- that's good too.

have you considered relocating somewhere else? maybe what you like can't be found in atoka. like, tech jobs are mostly on the West Coast of the states. I live in New York City and if i wanted a job at Microsoft, i'd have to move to Washington state. maybe think about that.

good luck with your search!!

You could try registering at different job agencies like Adecco what ever agencies you have in your area. Also, try other job sites like Careerbuilder.com, Hotjobs.com, Computerjobs.com if your in IT, Jobsinthemoney.com for financial professionals, and jobvertise. You could also try joining a Yahoo group for jobs that specialize in your industry. Also, go to the companies websites that you are interested in to check out their jobs and submit your resume directly. Hope this is of use to you, Good Luck!

Try and look up staffing agencies in your area, they can always find you a job. In Chicago, we have Manpower, OfficeTeam, Paige Personnel Services, etc. See if you have those in your area.
