playstation 2 is better than original xbox
but xbox 360 will beat both ps37ps2
overall if u want to buy a system wait for the Nintendo WII to come out, much cheaper, and btter quality.

Xbox for Graphics. It is about twice as "powerful" as PS2. however the main reason to buy a videogame system, is the games. Many games are on both systems however there are some only on PlayStation 2 (Ratchet and Clank. Up your arsenal)
or on Xbox (Halo 2) So it depends on what type of games you enjoy playing. The better system technologically is Xbox, Playstation 2 is the worlds most popular brand.

PlayStation 2 is better than the Xbox. PlayStation 3 is much more capable than the Xbox 360 but costs A LOT more (about 500 bucks without any upgrades) so if you just wanna play new-gen video games for a possible price I suggest the 360 for now...

PS2 is a far superior system to the original xbox and has a great selection of games available Xbox 360 is better then both these and the new nintendo WII seems to have some bugs mentioned but once these are cleared up should be a great system

The PlayStation series of systems is better.Sony came first,not Microsoft's Xbox series!
The only competitor to be afraid of is Nintendo.They've came a very long way to make us play their systems.

xbox is much better because the online play is much more intense and has lots more features than ps2 online.its well worth the money.also there first person shooters are much more developed they can use 4 controllers and has internal memory where as ps2 u have 2 buy memory cards and buy a hub 2 connect 4 controllers.
