What you need is a programme to convert the movie. Although you can watch it on your puter . The programme is called win avi and obtainable to download from the net if you use filesharing. Hope this helps. Gl and enjoy your films.

1. You will find that most flicks will not fit on a CD. There are a few that do, but not most.
2. You must re-encode the movie so that a dvd player will recognize it.
3. NeroVision express will do the complete job for you, but it's kinda slow. Start with that program. Check out www.computing.net and read some of the answers in the digital video section.
4. Good luck

if you are burning the movies onto a regular CD and not a DVD i think... but i might be wrong... that you can only burn the file in a VCD format to get them to play on a regular DVD player... the problem is that you are limited to a max of about 60 minutes
if you are burning movies onto a writable DVD make sure you are using the right format for your burn... PAL is for european standards... NTSC (i think) is the standard for here in the states
good luck!
