It probably just seems like it attracts more dust becasue you are used to it being shiny and clean. Or you could be using too much Pledge. I actually usethe Pledge anti allergen, I think it works better. Doesn't smell quiet the same ( I love the smell of a freshly pledged room) but it seems to get more dust. My apt is very dusty anyways so I'm used to dusting all the time

Endust - but spray it on the dusting cloth, not on the furniture. Why, I don't know but my Mom taught me that many years ago!

Make sure you are dusting lampshades and other things that attract dust that are on your furniture.

I've had my own cleaning business for 10years and your right pledge doesn't work, I've found that Orange Glo is by far the best for polishing. It's sold anywhere cleaning supplies are sold.

Olde English, Lemon.
It works for me, and I am a cleaning lady, so take my word at it.. If you spray a swiffer duster with vinegar water, then that helps a LOT as well.
Good luck and happy dusting!

Hope my answer helped you

I just use good old murphy's oil soap. Dilute it in a pan of water, wring your cloth out and wash the furniture with it and dry. Anything you wash with it comes beautiful. Use this on wood floors linoleum, wood cabinets, and any wood furniture, oh, your wood banisters and stairs too.

I use lemon oil on my wood (oak) furniture. It makes the wood grain look fantastic and it smells pretty nice too!
