If you're rich enough to buy one and live in a place where it's legal for you to have a lion or a tiger as a pet, then you'd probably be able to have a saber-toothed tiger. Still, it'd probably eat one of the neighbor children and leave you open for criminal charges and a big lawsuit.

No, because you shouldn't even have the current tigers as pets. They are wild animals and should remain as such.
