Ok, I will explain this question a little better. My neighbor has a history of going through our trash, threatening to burn the house down, spitting on people, f/u'ing me and my wife as he hides behind his fence....it's getting worse and worse and I think he is losing his grip on reality. I want to know what his criminal record is. I do not have his last name. I do have his address, but I can't get a reverse address dir to give me his name because it's unlisted. This guy waits in the dark for us to come home and hisses and growls behind the fence. His house is paid off, he has no job no friends no family, he just sits at home and drinks and obsesses about us. When I moved away and rented my house the cops werr called 4 times by the tenants because he would wait until the girls came home and call them sluts and whores when they got out of their car....he has a problem with my wife now and demands to know her last name (not the smae as mine) and where she is from. I need to find info!

well it sounds like this guy is not going anywhere if his house is paid for. try going down to the police station telling them what you already know maybe they can help. Some counties have their civil and criminal court cases online and you can see if he has any cases pending against him. (ex. I just looked up a friends case the other day) In the mean time if the guy has not broken any law then there isnt much you can do. Maybe put some dog poop in with your trash so next time he goes through it he gets a little extra something. I would suggest documenting everything he does if the time comes you ever need to call the cops then you can show a pattern of his behavior. this guy sounds really wrong in the head. good luck to you.

Forget accessing his criminal background check online (they all cost near $50) especially if you don't have his last name. I'd be calling the police to file a stalking and harrassing report and then calling the police to come out whenever he gets in the garbage, spits, ESPECIALLY for making threats of any kind to anyone and keep up with it all because this man is mentally ill. He is very unstable, paranoid and delusional with violent tendencies and you have no idea when he's going to act out. Do not respond directly to any questions or comments he makes to you and tell your wife to do the same. Just walk away and go inside, keep a log with the date, time and description and call the police. I know this is very uncomfortable and you don't want to antagonize the man, but he is ill and has no problem with antagonizing your family. It's self-protection. What good would a criminal record (if there is one) do you except to find out about an arrest and get yourself more upset or frightened? I have had to deal with neighbors with mental health issues and finding out more facts about them and their past only made me more upset, outraged, and worried, and more prone to react and/or retaliate. That's not the way to handle it. Make the police a part of your protection. If he does act out and you react (which is a fair response in a normal situation), then it's going to be his word against yours. After you've filed a police complaint, then you can get a restraining order from the court and will be able to have him arrested if he still continues.
I'm not trying to sound like "he's nuts; call the cops and get him locked up" because I know a great deal about mental illnesses personally and empathize with this burden so many people are afflicted with, but I also know the potential for serious harm people are exposed to when they are unmedicated and their illness is in control. Good luck to you.

Go to your county's property appraisers website and search the records for deeds by address. If he owns his home, his name will be there. There are many agencies that will do a criminal background check for $25 or so. If you do it yourself, it's a lot of work. You can check the recorded documents in your county for free fairly easily, but if he has a criminal background in some other county or state, it won't show up there.

Man, it sounds like this guy is a real loony tune! I would definitely get the police involved in this, if only that you have a record of this and also so the police are on notice that your neighbor is a nut job. There are all sorts of people that fly off the handle and do something crazy (like the guy in Bailey, CO and the guy in Amish country recently) ... law enforcement needs to know about these people and keep an eye on them!

... a checklist is a checklist.... even nonetheless a in case you mean like a misdemeanor, then you definately wouldn't have lots of a difficulty with looking a activity. maximum employers won't end to hire you in simple terms considering the fact which you have a checklist, even nonetheless, even nonetheless the undeniable fact which you have a checklist would not immediately mean which you're actually not likely to be waiting to get a activity, in the journey that your conviction pertains to a minimum of a few thing that has to do with the activity you're using for, (e.i. you have a petit theft conviction and you're using for a activity at walmart, or you have a baby pornography conviction and you're using for a activity at an afternoon care) you in all likelihood won't get it. maximum employers ask that question to show for convictions that would disqualify you for the activity....

does he own this house? IF he does go to the county recorders office ond find out the name of the property owner. if it is not him, contact the owner and explain your problem. at least you will get this mans name. then you can go to Superior courts records in your city, on line and do a public search of criminal records. good luck! don't pay for this information. it is free public information!!!

You need to call the police and file a formal harrasement complaint. This guy is threatening to commit bodily harm! You can go to city hall and give them his address and find his last name. I would file a stalking report also as that is what he is doing. The police should not overlook this behavior, this guy is dangerous. Good luck and please tell us what happened.

You need to get the police involved, maybe an undercover detective posing as a Friend or relative to witness this guy's harassment first hand.

filing a civil suit against him for harrassment will give you access to all of his info, as the subpeona will have to be served to someone. also you say he owns the house, contact your local tax assessor and ask to see the property lines surrounding your house. it will list the owners of the property.
