That's not a good idea. Being a single mother is very difficult and stressful. It is best if you have your partner there to help you emotionally, financially and physically. Trust me, I was raised by a single mother.

I really think you need to think about this alot more carefully and dont rush into anyting.. its not easy being a single mother... my babys dad and me get on ok and he takes him two days a week but its still hard.. you also have to consider that the baby might benefit from having a dad.. obviously this depends on whether he wud be a good dad or not, i know lots of people where the baby was better off without the dad but i dont know any1 who wud deliberately set out to have a child witout a dad. mayb im wrong but you seem to have some issues about men if you do you should sort them out first.. or is it that you just havnt met a bloke that you love enough to hav a family with and feel ready for a child?? if you do hav a baby i dont think its very fair for the dad not to know and have the offer of involvement in the childs life unless he has done something to make him an unsuitable father such as drug abuse or beating you up

Why would you want to deprive your little baby of a Daddy. Come on stop being so selfish. Being a single parent is not easy. Many women have to become single parents through no fault of their own. They struggle on but love their children dearly. You have the advantage to bring a child into a healthy two parent loving family. If you only stop being so selfish and think about what you are saying. Also would you really deprive a man of its baby. Doesnt everyone deserve to know when they become a parent

I think a woman can choose to have a baby without a man. I'm not exactly sure why that freaks so many people out. As long as you are financially and emotionally stable then you should be able to have a child if you want. You should try a sperm bank tho, that way there will be nobody to challenge you for the kid later. I"m not sure this is a serious question, but maybe some women have really considered this option, I don't think they should be put down for it.

This could be difficult since the chosen man could
later claim paternity. It would be better to choose a
man that is handsome and educated towards you,
try the pregnancy but when registering declare
paternity as unknown. In this case you should not
let him know of your plans and try to avoid seeing
him again.

It's difficult raising a baby with an involved father I can't imagine wanting to do it alone and besides for that babies need fathers. Fathers are very important and intentinonally making a baby knowing the father won't be involved is not a smart thing to do.

being a single mom is not something that should be done lightly, I know from experience, things are hard and very tough not to mention how tight money is,
Plus what you need to ask yourself is:
Is it really fair bring a child into the world without a father,
Can you really cope being a single parent on your own,
Why do you really want to be a single parent.
i would ask myself these befoe I evne thought about it

Go for it girl...have a black one if possible . Don't forget the burberry outfits, and smoke lots during pregnancy.
Call it something nice like Chardonnay, Mercedes, Winston or Marcell.
Get you're name on the council list and spend all the family allowance on cigs and booze.
We need more people like you....makes me proud to be English
