I would trust neither. Trust only yourself when it comes to money.

I would be more apt to trust an old person. But for me it does not matter who I give it to because if they steal it I will whack them so I am not too concerned about getting my money stolen.

Age doesn't even enter this one for me, I'd trust my family...because I've done this & have borrowed from them also.
