Florida, New York, California, Atlanta, Chicago, and Washington DC. Yes, I know, I threw in some cities, but these states have the biggest cities, and others have only one really big city. And by the way, Key West is no longer a mecca for Gays...cruise lines ruined Key West long ago.

Probably California, since it has the biggest population overall. It is also home to several large cities. San Francisco has a well-known gay community.

no one knows because so many are in the closet and afraid to come out. there will never be an accurate count of the gay population.
whats it matter anyway? im sure where you live there is a decent gay population.
