Nope! I didn't exactly raise my hand and say that I wanted to be a janitor in a high school.

No, I wanted to be a million things when I grew up, but now that I have grown up, I do a million things, just nothing like my childhood delusions of what life as an adult would be like.
I think that I have a better deal though- I'm a mom, and couldn't imagine anything better.

No where near! I wanted to be a journalist, but when my father pointed out that they may send me somewhere on assignment like Beirut, journalism didn't hold the same appeal. Then, Oprah & Rosie O'Donnell got the good alternate jobs, so...

Well sort of I always wanted to be a teacher. I was a Pre-K teacher for years at a daycare center. Now I'm not working but I'm trying to teach my great niece somethings to prepare her for kindergarten.

Unfortunately, no.
When I was a child I wanted to grow up to be either a doctor (because I love to help people) or a lawyer (because I like to argue.)
I am in college right now for business mangement and my goal is to become a real estate broker and one day own my own night club.

No...
When I was just 6 years old, my dad sat me upon his knee and said "Son, when you grow up, you are going to have to get a job" He then asked, "Do you have any idea what you would like to be when you grow up?".... I thought about it for a few minutes and said to him:
"Dad, when I grow up I want to be a mailman." Dad was a bit surprised and said to me "Son, what a noble profession, I am proud of you. Just one question, why do you want to be a mailman?" I said to him "They seem to be very happy and love their jobs". Dad said "Why do you say that, son?" I replied "Well, the other day I was passing mommy's bedroom & I heard our mailman say "Damn I love my job"..."YES! YES! YESSSSSSS!". He sounded so happy that I decided I am going to be a mailman.
Dad looked at me kind of funny & said "Good thing you don't want to be a babysitter"....
so, no... I am very happy being a well adjusted, normal, unassuming financial planner...
