why did loreile and luke break up??what was the arguement about??

they broke up because luke found out that he had a daughter, so he tried to reconnect with her and exclude lorelai. lorelai then got tired of waiting for him and gave him an ultimatum. luke said no and lorelai slept with christopher. luke asked her to elope and she said no. he wouldn't take it as an answer so she told him about christopher.

Luke was too involved with finding out that he was a father. He did not make Lorelai a part of the relationship - she felt he was pushing her away. So she said "Marry me now or never" and he said "no" (after a lot of conversation back and forth). Then after Lorelai realized that her and Luke were *over* she slept with Christopher (Rory's dad).

Loreli gave Luke an ultimatum to marry her now. He said he needed time. He had April to consider and he had been keeping her out of the loop where his life with April is concerned. So she went and slept with Christopher. Luke then came to her house the next day to sweep her away and marry her and she told him about sleeping with Christopher. VERY DUMB MOVE. After that it was really over. I think it will hurt the show to take that story line away.

it was mainly about how Luke found out he had a daughter and he didn't want to marry because he wanted more time to figure out the whole "I'm a father" deal. they postponed the wedding and then Lorelai got impatient because it felt like Luke was pushing her away and didn't even let her talk to his daughter or her mother.

luke had no balls and could marry her. watch the show. the season just started.
