Just act surprised and offer to take it to the vet ( to make sure it is okay - you know - being a newly hatched dragon ). That way you can leave early without your boss knowing that it was you who brought it in!

it's a good thing u didnt have 2 sit on it for it to hatch.... if ur boss has any compassion, she'll let u and the little Drago leave early, afterall, he'll be very hungry!
