Not trying to be annoying, I just have a list of movies from years that I've wanted to see, and people dont mind answering them:

Amelie (no, I don't mind subtitles)
Black Hawk Down
A Huey P. Newton Story
Blow
Ichi The Killer (no, gore doesn't scare me off)
The Others
Royal Tenanbaums
Hannibal (yes, I've seen SOTL)
Training Day
A Beautiful Mind

A Beautiful Mind, Training Day and The Royal Tenenbaums all have great performances by the leading men (Russell Crowe, Denzel Washington, Gene Hackman) None of the films are great although the first two are more watchable. Black Hawk Down was very compelling and Amelie was interesting and different. The Others was uninteresting to me. I did not see the others.

Loved the Others! Can't walk down a dark staircase without it popping to mind.Hannibal is a must see.Not Jodie Foster but whatsherface represents well and the movie flows.Blow is pretty self explanatory but good none the less. Black Hawk Down is no Saving Private Ryan but a glimpse of the truth most will never see. Amelie isn't so good.Either was the Tenanbaums. Training Day was good plot but weak and beautiful mind was slow but interesting if you get into it.

My vote is for A Beautiful Mind and then The Others. I don't care about the rest.
