Like others have already said, I too, am not a country music fan - but I loved that movie - the acting was excellent, the story very sad yet happy, and the music and singing was great especially since Joaquin and Reese did the singing themselves!

I really am not a country music fan and didn't know any Johnny Cash songs, but my husband made me watch it and I actually liked it. I HATE admitting it, but I also like a couple of his songs. Though I like Chris Daughtery's remake of Walk the Line better!!!

I loved it!! I'm not a big fan of country music, and not so much with Juaquin Phoenix, but I gotta say, I found new respect for his acting ability after seeing it!! It was very well done and as I was watching it I said "oh my God, this is a love story!!". That movie has stayed with me, and not many do.

I really enjoyed it. Fascinating story, brilliantly acted, with superb music. Was amazed to find out that Johnny Cash really did propose to June Carter on stage like that...
