That means that in 5 days your landlord will send you an eviction notice and a court date. It means its time to move or pay up. If you cant pay you may be able to work something out with the landlord. If not then you will go to court and they will give you a very limited time to move or your landlord can kick you and your stuff out to the street.

Pay your rent, the next step is eviction.

They are legally required to give you this notice so they can evict you.

I would give you the links that the Bar has provided to the public answering your question but yahoo answers says that providing links with the proper answers to questions is spamming and they rather just have written answers from sources that are not qualified to provide such answers

I think it means they want you to resign.
