it should not be too much different than usual. at my 19 week checkup the only difference was that we did the scheduling for the ultrasound. which they did at 20 weeks. other than that it was pretty well the same routine. bp check, weight, urine test, baby heartbeat, dr asking questions.

If they haven't done a tri-screen blood test, they will probably do that. That's where they check the blood for signs of certian birth defects. Also, my doctor scheduled me for an ultrasound since most of the baby's organs are now fully formed and working, so they can be checked out. You can also usually tell the baby's sex for by this time too, if you want to know. It seemed like a pretty regualar check-up besides those two things. Congrats :)

The usual..listening to the heart beat, weigh in, blood pressure, urine check...that's about it. You might get a prescription to get your big ultrasound done.

nothing much different than your other prenatal checkups, usually there is a detailed anatomy ultrasound done around this time, but typically it's seperate from your regular checkup.
