A leotard is still useful for dance...tights can support your leg muscles, and help to keep them warm, but most dancers opt for yoga pants.

I'm not sure what the benefit is, but I sure think they look sexy! You get to see a woman's figure, but at the same time, there's room for imagination.

They are clothing that allow free range of movement. They also make it easier for instructors and coaches to see if you are doing the exercises correctly. However, They are totally out of fashion.

They allow you to hide the fatty rolls and stretch marks, foolish vanity.

They just help so that you are able to be flexible while working out. They do look pretty silly though :)
