If you are interested in certified gem stones and willing to travel some distance, you should go to Baba Kharak Singh Marg State Emporiums (Connaught Place, New Delhi). Many State Emporiums there sell gem stones of verified / certified quality. CP is just about 14-15 kms from Sector 18 of Noida.

Alternatively, you may also visit Central Cottage Industries Emporium (CCIE) at Janpath, opposite Hotel Imperial - in Connaught Place itself for verified gemstones.
