The human race moves forward as our children. And we have all contributed to this movement. And it appears, as we are all here still, that somehow we made it despite all the mistakes our fathers and great parents . We shouldn't need to even consider this question, or have it constructed in the mind at all. The fact that it has been constructed does indicate the degree of degeneration we are in. Living cannot me measured through reward and punishement. There is no individual gain. Interestingly enough the word individual takes its meaning from indivisable, that which cannot be seperated.

I don't think many of these people understood your question. Anyway, humans ensure the survival of the human race out of ignorance and fear. Mainly, as humans, people need to feel important and immortal, not the creation of god and religions. However, we are just like any animal and it is possible we to will go extinct at some point. Just the way it is.

If the human race survives, we can continue to destroy the world! As individuals we gain the benefit of telling other individuals not to keep destroying the world!

If the world survives and behaves on emotions, then what would the point of survival be?

The world as it is, is so screwed up. Judicial systems tend to offer more protection to the criminals and leave the victims out to fend for themselves, no wonder there's no more respect among people.

Who knows? Perhaps we weren't meant to survive? :p

I think the only way we can gain anything is to "take charge of our own lives" and strive to "break the circle of voilence", stop pretending anyone is better than anyone else; learn to get along; and be happy to learn from each other, rather than trying to suffocate those that have something important and interesting to say; deal with individual issues; stop pointing fingers (for every person you point at, there's three more fingers pointing back at you); learn to take responsibilities for oneself; stop blaming others; rejoice in the success of others; encourage each other; and much much more. :-)

every life works for the survival. life has developed three throng strategy to survive: a) try and survive in the existing form for the maximum time and b) procreate so that life survives in the next generation. c) evolve better species to have better capacity to survive.
for this life chooses variety as the best way, so life consumes variety as food to survive and selects variety of mate to procreate strong off-springs who has more capacity to survive. thus fighting to survive is a character and congenital nature of life.

Those individuals who don't believe that their race should survive should be the first to die. Kill yourself, asker, if such is your true opinion, and leave the world to those of us who find some value in our race being here.
